Dr. Yasmin is a dedicated and compassionate pediatric dentist at Midtown Dental Group in Park Slope. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where she also completed a Master of Public Health and participated in the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities Fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Her educational journey also includes a Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology from UCLA and a pediatric dental residency at Columbia University/New York Presbyterian.
Born and raised in Orange County, California, Dr. Yasmin brings a wealth of knowledge and a warm, approachable demeanor to her practice. She loves building lasting relationships with her patients and their families, understanding that the dental office can be intimidating for both children and parents. Dr. Yasmin finds immense joy in helping children develop a love for visiting the dentist.
Passionate about educating her patients on oral health, Dr. Yasmin takes the time to ensure they understand how to take control of their dental care. She believes in a holistic approach, recognizing that each child and family is unique in their environment, needs, and resources. This philosophy drives her to prioritize spending adequate time with each patient, addressing all concerns, and creating a non-judgmental, supportive space for families.
As a new addition to the team, Dr. Yasmin is excited to bring her expertise and caring approach to Midtown Dental Group Park Slope and the Park Slope community. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, running when the weather permits, and experimenting with new recipes. She also cherishes her Australian Shepherd, Oso, who is her constant companion.
