Dr. David Ishakis received his DDS from NYU College of Dentistry. During his time at NYU, he was heavily involved in leadership and advocacy roles including acting as a legislative liaison for the American Student Dental Association. Through this experience, he met with legislators in Washington D.C. and advocated for students, the dental profession, and – most of all – his patients. After NYU, Dr. Ishakis completed a one-year General Practice Residency at Lincoln Hospital in the Bronx where he broadened his education, knowledge, and skill in restorative dentistry, oral surgery, and facial trauma.
He continues to attend continuing education courses throughout the year to stay up to date and learn new techniques to better serve his patients. Dr. Ishakis strives to always provide the best dentistry possible to each patient. Dr. Ishakis is a certified member of the Northeast Regional Board of Dental Examiners (NERB) as well as the ADA, NYSDA, and the Queens County Dental Society.
