Ilana Grossman, DDS, brings over 16 years of experience to Midtown Dental Group NoMad, where she provides high-quality, patient-centered care with a focus on both function and aesthetics.
Originally from Plainview, Long Island, Dr. Grossman earned her Bachelor’s degree in Studio Art from the University of Maryland before completing her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. She then went on to complete a general dentistry residency at North Shore University Hospital, followed by advanced training in implantology at NYU.
Dr. Grossman is well known for her compassionate, minimally invasive approach. Her holistic patient-care philosophy prioritizes prevention, patient education, and the preservation of natural tooth structure. With her background in painting and metal casting, Dr. Grossman brings an artistic eye to her cosmetic and restorative treatments. Her clinical interests include oral surgery, crown and bridge work, and Invisalign, and she takes particular pride in helping anxious patients feel at ease and restoring confidence through healthy, beautiful smiles.
A member of the American Dental Association, she is committed to lifelong learning and clinical excellence. Outside the office, Dr. Grossman lives on the Upper East Side and enjoys an active lifestyle: snowboarding, cycling, rock climbing, and competing in triathlons (she’s a proud two-time Ironman finisher).
